“Hi everyone, my name is Laylah, and I’m the founder of Hands of Hope: Dream Big.

Hands of Hope was created from a simple belief: every child deserves hope, happiness, and the opportunity to dream big, no matter what they may be going through.

Through Hands of Hope, we want to create opportunities for children and families who are facing health challenges, illnesses, or other difficult circumstances.

One of the biggest things I want Hands of Hope to provide is a place where kids can simply be kids. While they’re dealing with appointments, treatments, hospital visits, or other challenges, I want them to have opportunities to laugh, play, make memories, meet other kids, and just have fun.

At the same time, I want parents and caregivers to have the chance to focus on what matters most: supporting their child, being there for them, and helping them through whatever health challenges they’re facing. They shouldn’t have to worry about their child missing out on being a kid.

I want Hands of Hope to give families a little breathing room—to remind them that even during difficult times, there can still be moments of happiness, connection, and hope.

I started Hands of Hope because I believe that sometimes, a helping hand can make a bigger difference than we realize. And I hope that through this organization, we can help children dream big, have fun, and remember that their circumstances do not define their future.
